Technical advice on Health Promotion Financing

Allen & Clarke provided technical support at a 14-country workshop on sustainable health promotion financing convened by the World Health Organization in Manila, Philippines.  Our work included:

• Designing and carrying out a pre-meeting stocktake and survey of existing health promotion financing arrangements in countries attending the workshop (ranging from small Pacific states to large countries such as India and China)
• Producing a report on the findings of the survey, which provided a descriptive analysis of each country’s current arrangements and provided an analysis of key findings and themes identified
• Developing a technical paper on governance and accountability issues to support sustainable health promotion financing mechanisms
• Developing two tools on good governance and accountability principles for sustainable health promotion financing
• Attending the workshop in Manila, Philippines, to present our papers and provide technical support to the meeting (eg, drafting the final meeting report).
