Rob joined Allen & Clarke after working in both the public and private sectors. He obtained his Law degree and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Canterbury in 1995, before travelling to the United Kingdom where he worked at Merrill Lynch International in London.

He has worked in various policy and project management roles. Rob is a skilled senior policy analyst and project manager, with demonstrable experience in policy and regulatory development and implementation across a range of complex issues. Rob has significant experience working on policy projects involving multiple government and non-government agencies.

Rob is also involved in Allen & Clarke's international development work, including projects in the Pacific, Asia and Africa. He has been involved in work on health promotion financing and governance models. He has also been assisting a number of Pacific countries to review their legislation and non-legislative policies and processes to comply with their international obligations under the International Health Regulations (2005).
