Ned joined Allen & Clarke in January 2007 with eleven years' experience in social policy, research and evaluation.
Over the five years to December 2006, Ned worked at the Big Lottery Fund, a UK lottery grants distributor, most recently as Head of Evaluation and Research. In this role Ned developed and managed the corporate evaluation, research and learning strategy, and set up and managed a number of programme evaluations and shorter term research projects. Previously Ned was a social scientist at the Department of Conservation where he led the research programme on community participation and public awareness. Ned has also worked as a senior policy analyst at Te Puni Kokiri and as a researcher for the NZ Council for Educational Research.
Ned has experience in policy development and implementation, social research and programme evaluation. He has specific experience in issues requiring a cross-sector approach, involving government and non-governmental agencies.
Since joining Allen & Clarke Ned has worked on a health service development project for the Ministry of Health.
