Thank you to everyone who took the time to complete Survey 2 – there was great response and engagement. Survey 2 focussed on options for improvement and will now inform the detailed regulatory options to be tested in this final survey. When this survey is completed, a summary of the results will be made publicly available.

This survey is the second last of three surveys that we will issuing as part of VCNZ’s review of the Act.  We invite you to participate in all of the surveys but understand if you only want to complete those that are of most interest to you.

How to make a submission

The questions asked in the online submission form are a guide only, and all comments are welcome. You do not have to answer all the questions.

To ensure others clearly understand your viewpoint, please try to explain the reasons for your answers and provide supporting evidence, where appropriate.

Use of information

The information provided in submissions will be used to develop a proposal to go to the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI). If appropriate, the proposal will seek amendments to the Veterinarians Act.

The Privacy Act 2020 establishes certain principles with respect to the collection, use and disclosure of information about individuals by various agencies, including VCNZ. Any personal information you supply to VCNZ in the course of making a submission will only be used to assist in the development of policy advice in relation to this review.

Please clearly indicate in your submission if you do not wish your name, or any other personal information, to be included in a summary of submissions that VCNZ may publish.
