About the Experts
Jodie is a Consultant with experience in corporate tax, policy development, project management, and working with a variety of stakeholders across both the public and private sectors. Jodie is an expert communicator and is confident in exploring new approaches to complex problems. Jodie is passionate about driving positive change amongst vulnerable communities and seeking solutions to policy problems which celebrate New Zealand’s diverse cultures.
Matthew is a Director of Allen + Clarke, working closely with Paul Houliston to set the strategic direction for the business as well as provide leadership for the Allen + Clarke team. He also leads Allen + Clarke’s formal quality assurance and improvement programme.
Matthew relishes leading multifaceted policy, research and evaluation projects with diverse stakeholders. He is a skilled policy analyst with considerable experience in working within the machinery of government, having worked in a range of roles within both central and local government. He has strong networks within the public and non-government sectors, as well as strong international linkages through his overseas development experience.
Matthew has considerable experience in regulatory policy and implementation, including enforcement. He therefore leads many of our regulatory design and implementation projects.
Matthew is also enthusiastic about involving stakeholders in innovative ways, harnessing their insights to identify more effective and efficient ways of delivering policy, programmes and services.
