About the Experts
Toby Black has a keen interest in policy analysis and technological development. He has a particular interest in the implications of technology in future public sector operations and processes, and his master’s dissertation explored current regulation and management of algorithms within New Zealand’s public sector, with an eye towards future changes in the regulation and management of these technologies.
Stuart Beresford is a Senior Consultant with two decades of policy analyst experience within the public sector including six years at the United Nations. He has a strong understanding of policy and regulatory processes and has led a range of policy projects relating to civil court fees, energy efficiency, human rights, Māori land law, and privacy regulation.
