Allen + Clarke is supporting the Manawatu District Council by investigating and reporting on the actual and potential effects of climate change on inland, agricultural areas similar to the Manawatu District. Allen + Clarke is conducting an environmental scan to research the impacts of climate change and developing a planning framework. This information will be used to inform Manawatu District Council’s long-term planning and environmental sustainability strategy. It will also provide the Council with a framework for discussion with the community about adapting to climate change.
